Comments and Recommendations 

EXAMPLE.com is a dental Web site that promotes general and cosmetic dental services in YourTown.


The overall design of the website is simple and fairly easy to navigate. It has the look and feel of a template Web site, but does a good job of being an online representation of the practice. The navigation is intuitive, the design straightforward, and the site provides potential patients with the information they need to make an appointment. New patient forms were not found on the site.


It appears as if EXAMPLE.com has had some optimization, as there was an attempt at having unique title elements and meta tags on most pages of the site. This optimization could use more focus and should be based upon comprehensive keyword research.


Having incoming links (backlinks) is critical to rank for dentistry keywords in the YourTown area. There is significant traffic for those Web sites that rank well across many of the top keywords. Backlinks are necessary for this to happen.


Additional pages of text-based content will also give the Web site a significant boost in the search engines. Google currently has found 10 pages. The local competition we identified in this report has close to 100 or more.
